Jane Onoka
Career Transition Strategist · Financial Clarity Coach · Certified AI Consultant
FinSavvy Woman began as financial coaching. It has grown into a practice spanning three connected sectors, because the women Jane works with were never facing only a money question.
Today, Jane helps women navigate career transitions with greater clarity and intention — understanding their financial runway, identifying their next professional move, and building the confidence to make decisions from a position of choice rather than pressure. She also helps them strengthen their relevance in a changing world of work by building practical AI fluency.

Why the work is no longer only about money.
A career decision affects money. Financial realities affect how much career risk you can take. AI is changing the relevance of skills and how work gets done. Jane built the practice around all three because clients kept arriving with all three.
Financial Runway
Can I afford my next chapter?
Understand your numbers, your runway, your choices and the decision points underneath them.
Career Repositioning
What am I positioning myself for next?
Translate your experience into a clear next-chapter direction and a professional position that travels.
AI Fluency
How will I work differently now that AI is here?
Use AI practically, responsibly and strategically to create greater capability and leverage.

In their own words.
Turning 40 will have you questioning everything, including your very existence. What if I want to change my career? What if I want to take a career break? How do I prepare myself for university fees for my children? How will I manage my finances, keep my lifestyle, and for how long? These were exactly the questions I had when I started working with Jane.

If you are a mid-career woman who wants the confidence to make career or life changes, and to have a clear, honest view of your financial runway and what freedom could look like, I would strongly recommend working with Jane. The process was humbling in the best way—it challenged some of my assumptions and helped me reset my expectations based on actual numbers rather than feelings, which has made my choices feel much more grounded and intentional. Her mix of technical know-how, structure, and genuine empathy is rare, and I came out of this feeling calmer and much more in control of what I need to do to get to my personal and financial goals.
Jane gave me something most financial advice never does: real clarity.

She took me through a full Conscious Spending and Investment Plan, and helped me calculate my “freedom number,” the figure that tells me exactly how long I could sustain my family through a career or life transition before I needed the next job. She also helped me actively plan for the retirement life I want, now, rather than waiting for life to happen or hoping my children will take care of me. Beyond that, she helped me see how to prioritize living an abundant life while still covering what matters most for my family. A full life deserves a place in the plan, not just an apology.
Beyond the numbers, Jane helped me prioritize what’s next: growing my investments and building toward both my children’s future and my own retirement. She also reshaped how I see AI, from a productivity tool to a career agent, and connected me to The Pivot, a community of women now part of my support system.
Rare clarity, wisdom, and generosity. Highly recommend to any mid-career woman ready to take control of her financial story.
I recently completed the IMPACT AI Accelerator, a six week program designed and led by Jane Onoka, and it reshaped how I think about my own consulting practice.

Jane taught me about AI as a working partner inside a system she has clearly tested many times over. We moved from an honest audit of my 18 years of expertise, to a specific, market ready offer, to an AI toolkit tuned to that offer, and finally to a launch package with real outreach messages ready to send. Nothing in the program felt generic. Every exercise was pulled from my own career, not a template borrowed from someone else's.
What stood out most was Jane's clarity about where AI belongs and where judgment must remain. She has spent over twenty years designing programs across more than thirty five countries, and that depth showed in how she held the balance between structure and space for our own voice. I left with a documented niche, a signature offer, and the fluency to keep building on both. I recommend Jane to any woman who has been carrying deep expertise without a clear package around it.

I was the keynote speaker when Jane launched The Pivot Community in Nairobi in March 2026, and I've watched her build it since: she teaches women 40+ to plan career transitions.

The Pivot itself rests on three pillars: financial clarity, skills for the AI era, and mindset and purpose. What started in one room in Nairobi now reaches women across Africa, the US, and the wider diaspora.
I've stayed close to Jane's work since that launch, and what stands out is how deliberately she builds: every session, every curriculum choice, every community touchpoint serves the same goal, putting real options back in women's hands.
If you're building something for women navigating change, or you want a partner who understands both AI and the people it's meant to serve, Jane is who I'd call.
Since I began working with Jane, her framework provided me a structured way to think about my finances. Jane’s approach is straight-forward and fact-based without judgement. While this was an intimidating process to start for someone like me who had shied away from discussions about finances, I am now more honest with myself and no longer avoid looking closely at my bank accounts.

Since working with Jane, I better understand the sequence of how to maximize my finances. Also, I now think differently about my daily financial decisions because I feel more motivated to reach the future life goals Jane helped me identify—I now make tradeoffs without being so impulsive. If you're looking to be honest with yourself about your situation without feeling judged, to get mentally organized and gain a clearer picture of where you are and where you want to be financially, and if you are encouraged by having a framework to support you, I would recommend partnering with Jane.
